That said, I don't have any penises in my work. Not that I'm a hypocrite - I would love to display a full nude shot of my body. The problem is that I'm too insecure and self-conscious about all my body's imperfections and short-comings, ahem.

I love to see penises (or is that penii?). I'd much rather look at a piece of apparatus that can create a life than one that can destroy a life.
I'm so sick of North America's obsession with guns and violence. I don't mind fictionalized violence now and again (Fight Club, Clockwork Orange - movies that have something to say), but this society has a totally unnatural fixation with it. It's not normal.
It seems that most people in this culture don't even flinch at somebody being bludgeoned to a bloody pulp, and yet flash a bit of naked (natural) skin, or show two men expressing love for one another and there's all Hell to pay!!

Sheesh. Some people need to get their priorities straightened out.

I was discussing censorship and related issues with my friend ~wyreth and he suggested I pay you a visit. I'm very sorry to see how much this new content chokehold here has plagued you. You make a lot of valid points in your journal, I more than agree with you about, well, everything. Your drawings are very well done and quite unique (all of them) - they deserve legitimate attention and respect, not arbitrary persecution. I'm going to join my friend and add you to my watchlist.
